Going Home… This mix is for my very beloved-bay-area-burningman camp, Laughing Monkeys. I am so excited to have motivated to make the trek out to the playa all the way from the East Coast this year. When I pull it off, imma feel like a million bucks! I want to whole-heartedly dedicate this mix I made to my campmates. I can’t wait to be dusty with you. The Paleta party at Bembe (even on Mondays) has been cracking. To celebrate, I’m posting the tropical radio show I did on EVR this summer around the Latin Alternative Music Conference. Lots of people (Even my bestie Robin from Jack Magazine down in Medellin) didn’t know that I [what did he say?] am a “dj sabrosa!” Lol. Coachella 2011 Thanks to Global Inheritance for inviting me to play. I treated them to a break from the crazy adrenaline-filled, throat-grabbing sets that were so popular this year. Sunset always demands something special. So I picked out lots of sexy cutting-edge bass music. And since I got to be there all three days this year, I have to report back on the best performances.
